Youth In-site

About

Youth In-Site provides "one-stop-shopping" for job search and career planning. The centre is sponsored by Random North Development Association in partnership with Human Resources Development Canada.

Our targeted clientele are unemployed, underemployed, and youth who seek meaningful employment and / or to make an informed career choice. Youth is defined as ages 15 to 30 years.

Our services include Internet Access, free photocopying and faxing for career planning, and job search purposes. Assistance is also provided with resumes, job searching, interview preparation, career planning, and labour market information.

We also provide these services:

Client referrals and one-on-one consultations with representitives from various government agencies and community groups / organizations.

Information sessions and presentations both on and off site.

A resource library of books covering topics such as resume writing, interviews, career exploration, and occupational profiles.

Information on post-secondary training, and school calenders / brochures.

Access to resources on government services and programs for youth.

Daily local job listing.


You will find that our centre offers a comfortable and casual work environment, our staff are friendly and ready to assist you, and we also provide access to up-to-date computer software.

Our hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm. We are closed on both Saturday and Sunday. For more information about the centre contact:
